BECUTAN Electrolyte with lemon balm and lemon for children over 12 months of age and adults is a powder for the preparation of an oral rehydration solution and is intended to replace losses of water and electrolytes in cases of diarrhea and vomiting. BECUTAN Electrolyte with lemon balm and lemon is a mixture of minerals, glucose, lemon balm extract, and natural lemon flavor. Lemon balm extract additionally helps in conditions of digestive disturbances. At the same time, lemon balm extract and lemon flavor give the solution a pleasant taste and make it agreeable to drink.

It is recommended that BECUTAN Electrolyte with sweet anise and BECUTAN Electrolyte with lemon balm and lemon be used under medical supervision. Preparation is simple—one sachet of Becutan powder (6.15 g) is dissolved in 300 ml of freshly boiled and cooled water.

The recommended doses are stated on the product packaging. Electrolyte solutions should be consumed slowly, taking small sips at regular intervals, in order to ensure complete absorption. It is recommended that prepared solutions be stored in a closed container, but for no longer than 24 hours.

Careful use of the solutions is recommended in individuals with high blood pressure due to the sodium content.
